Honouring Judah
Isaiah 41 v8 "But you O Israel my servant, Jacob
whom I have chosen, you descendents of Abraham my friend..."
God neither devorced the Jewish people nor revoked His own
covenant with them. Isaiah 49 v.8 "In the time of my favour
I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you.
I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant
for the people, to restore the land..."
Our own personal opinions no longer matter, the
Lord has stated in Romans 11 v.26 "... that all
Israel will be saved."
So the question will continue to be asked: "Who
will stand with my people?"
Our Father sent Yeshua when the Jewish nation was
at its worst, weighted down with the heavy weights
of Rabbinic legalism. He pulled the mask off the
enemy religiousity and showed "K vah nah," the
real intent of God's heart to save His people and
open the sheep fold (John 10) to include other sheep (the Gentiles).
So Judah, we honour you, that you kept the scriptures safe,
that even in your darkness there was always a remnant. We will
stand with you, because your enemies are our enemies, and we are
grafted into the eternal covenant that says : "I will forgive
their wickedness and will remember their sin no more."
Yeshua,
who was born a Jew and died a Jew fulfills Isiah 22 v.22 "I will place
on His shoulder the key to the house of David: what He opens no
one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open."
Yeshua's death and resurrection means that we too become friends
of the living God.     Ginnie White
